This was a vacation rental built from the ground up. It was a spec home but I was able to make some customizations to set it apart from similar homes in the neighborhood.

This vacation rental was mostly furnished. It just needed to feel a bit cozier.

What do you do with an empty window well?

This was my life’s dream and was a really fun project. Everyone in the neighborhood builds a white plantation or farmhouse. When in a row, they look like one big house and I wanted to do the exact opposite. Inspired by dark, warm builds in the mountains I wanted to bring that cozy feeling to the beach.

For this stunning home, I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful couple who had just moved in, starting with a completely blank slate after generously selling their previous home—fully furnished—to a family affected by the Palisades fire. This project was a unique collaboration: rather than overseeing every detail, I served as a consultant, helping to set the overall vision and providing guidance and direction as needed.

The homeowners were incredibly hands-on and self-sufficient, seeking my expertise for additional opinions and suggestions, especially as they prepared for the arrival of their newest family member with a fast-approaching deadline! Together, we focused on transforming their primary bedroom, living and dining areas, and cozy den—creating inviting, functional spaces that truly reflect their style and needs.

This was a fun “design from a distance” project. The clients in Maryland knew they wanted pink for their little girl so we had some fun with it!

Another “design from a distance” project in the mountains. This was previously a basement kitchen/laundry room. The homeowners no longer needed the kitchen but wanted space to exercise and a laundry room that was nice to look at since they would spend more time in the space. You can see that the surrounding mountain range was the inspiration.

Mountain Makeover

It was fun to work in the mountains of Colorado for a change of scenery. I had a chance to be hands on and wear my cute overalls and tool belt.  Along with the homeowner who is a carpenter, I helped to construct the fireplace and the entertainment center. 

This was a fun project!  I had the great opportunity to collaborate with Maggie Thomas of formuLA design.  This church wanted a fun room for their youth group and young adults to hang out.  

This one was lots of fun (sensing sarcasm?).  The entire bathroom was wallpapered, including the ceiling and around the shower.  I didn't make any major changes, just a little refresh.  Removing wallpaper is worse than torture!
