I wanted to create an all American surf lodge feel.  The front and side open up to catch the ocean breeze and enjoy the outside (while inside).    The whiskey bar and beer fridge are a guys dream come true.  I raised the ceilings as high as possible to create the sleeping loft which perfectly fits a queen size bed.  

I'm obsessed with the hand-painted cement flooring in the bathroom from Classic Tile in Hermosa Beach.  It's a sunny start to even the heaviest "June gloom."
